Jason hosts the VRFL podcast and is the Executive Director of the Big Sandy Heritage Center Museum, which preserves and promotes Appalachian history and heritage. He is the consumer representative on the Kentucky State Board of Pharmacy, which protects the public health of 4.5 million people in Kentucky. He is a regular guest on WVLK 590 AM talk radio.
He served in the U.S. Air Force for nine and a half years, holding the rank of Captain. Jason deployed to Balad, Iraq in 2006 and served with the 552nd Air Control Wing at Tinker Air Force Base. He holds a B.A. in History from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Science in International Relations from Troy State University. He is the author of several books, including Invasion Z: Russia’s Onslaught, Ukraine’s Heroic Resistance, and the Brink of WWIII. He lives with his wife and two children in Kentucky.
